Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, I began writing raps when I was nine years old. I didn’t began to pursue a rap career until high school when I began to take my craft seriously.How I got my stage name: “ayatollah” literally means “the sign of God”, so I adopted that and added three letters from my hometown as a nod to it, and the name stuck. My goal as far as making music is to always have a message in whatever song I write and record. I recently released a mixtape titled “Long Road to Raw English” on datpiff.com and audiomack. Currently gearing up to release ‘The Raw English EP’ by late May or early June.
