Colegion – “Love Dese Streets”

Colegion is a 19-year-old rapper originally from Memphis, TN but moved to Murfreesboro, TN right outside of Nashville to further his career. He started rapping when he was expelled from high school and put in alternative school for 180 days. Eventually he started working on improving his lyrics and music as a whole. When he released his first single “Flex Fest” which was taken offline, it gained a lot of attention from Soulja Boy’s group “Ocean Gang” and from the Chattanooga area of Tennessee. Right after the single release, he released six mixtapes in the following seven months. He didn’t get the reaction he wanted from his fans and also removed the mixtapes from the internet. Almost a year later, he released a mixtape named “D.M.V” for Dedication, Motivation, and Vision.

This mixtape is his most recent as it was released in 2014. He grew a small but solid fan base from the mixtape and is now working to improve with his new single “Love Dese Streets” that received over 1,000 plays the night it was released. He plans on releasing more singles as he works on is upcoming mixtape that hasn’t been named.
