Dudley Perkins AKA Declaime – Oxnard, CA native and All star veteran Hip Hop Fonkster. Dudley has been living Hip Hop and preaching truth for many years. Dudley, being a featured artist on Stones Throw Records website, and having most of his albums produced by Madlib and Georgia Anne Muldrow, has had many colorful albums, songs, features, collaborations and a vibrant career. Dudley’s most recent release was a dope album released with Mello Music Group in 2013. Dudley also heads his own label SomeOthaShip Connect.
MP the MC – Oxnard, CA native and up and coming SOS Connect artist. MP’s recent SOS Connect EP was produced strictly by Georgia Anne Muldrow. He was also featured on Dudley Perkins’ Mello Music Groups album and video in 2013.
Errol Reifman / Eklectic – Before Errol was born he was already experiencing tons of music. Reggae, Rock, Motown, Classical and Jazz were already influencing his ears from the womb. Growing up music was always played around the house and sung in the car. Errol was influenced by the early and mid 90′s Hip Hop of A Tribe Called Quest and Dr. Dre. When Errol was fifteen he purchased a Jimi Hendrix CD that changed his life. He then taught himself how to play guitar by listening and practice. Hendrix being his main influence Errol went on a musical journey of knowledge and practice that would introduce him to many of music’s greats. He feels mostly drawn to Hip Hop, Funk and Jazz due to the freedom of expression the genres offer. Errol has played guitar in multiple bands from San Diego to Los Angeles ranging from Jazz, Blues, Funk, Reggae and Rock. He has been hired to arrange, compose, produce, consult or play guitar for advertisements, movies, private parties, artists and bands. Errol has also been nominated twice by the San Diego Music Awards. His first nomination was in 2010 for being the sole producer of MC/Rapper Touch of Cas’s album “The Real”. Errol’s second nomination was for Best Jazz band, playing guitar in the Funk band “The Earful” in 2013. Errol’s main instrument is guitar but he also plays bass, keys and produces all Hip Hop beats for Soul Child Music. Errol has studied music theory and improvisation at Mesa College in San Diego, CA and at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA.
