Coming from the city of Kuwait, Haidar Abu Al Hasan (Born May 17th, 1994) best known as “Emcee Element” has made a great amount of contributions to the nation of Hip Hop and Rap. He started off with the element of street dance, then to free styling and forming choreography for theater productions. He then learned to master the art craft of “Graffiti” A.k.a street art. While known for Deejaying at local parties back home, he also learned to accumulate his deep thoughts and express them through the form of music, of the genres Hip Hop and Rap with his own unique twist to flows and styles influenced by artists like Bone Thugs N’ Harmony, Busta Rhymes and of course 2pac and Biggie. With that being said, this is why the emcee is called Element, “Emcee” to give the authentic vibe of the artist, and “Element” for doing the 4 Founding Elements of Hip Hop. Music has always been apart of his life, therefore Element has a whole brand to present rather than just music, like his clothing line “Elemental” producing futuristic styles to fashion through mixing Kuwait’s traditional/cultural clothing style to the Hip Hop urban look. Despite the lack of music opportunity in the middle east, the starving artist Element works his way to chasing the “American Dream” by moving to the Bay Area, California at the age of 17, to put Kuwait on the map and be the first Kuwaiti artist to hit the industry.
