Like most geniuses, twenty-year-old artist Harold Kalibala “Eros” keeps moving. From Uganda to Houston to the Midwest – from biology to football – he’s never stopped for anything, until a brutal tackle left him strapped to a hospital bed in Cincinnati. In the months following his brain surgery, for the first time in his life, Kalibala was forced to focus. To look within himself and determine what was truly important – to find a home where he never really had one.

And what he found was this: Harold Kalibala is at home with his music. In the hospital, he began to play with words, bending them to create lyrical stories that illustrated his global journey. He focused his insane, unfed work ethic and taught himself to play the guitar and to produce lyrics that fit his unique perspective.

His sound lies somewhere between East Africa and the American South – an earnest, cutting flow set against original captivating beats. There’s Outkast in his confident delivery, Jesse Boykins III in his soulful mood, and Childish Gambino in his outsider approach to the hip-hop game. Packaged together, there’s no rapper out there like him. The music hits hard and changes minds.
