ILL MaTT 20 year old rapper, born and raised in South Central, Los Angeles. He’s been writing verses and rapping since childhood, but recently has decided to put his long-honed skills to work, creating upwards of 50 new tracks within less than a year. Though he is West Coast born and raised, Matthew’s influences span the country. He notes 2pac, Nas and Andre 3000 as some of his favorite, and most influential artists.
Though appreciating a wide-range of hip hop artists, genres and styles, Matthew chooses not to glorify violence in his music. He draws inspiration from his personal experiences in the hope to inform and inspire his listeners.
