J.Bless & Sparkz – “Bump”

Brooklyn-based hip hop artists J.Bless + Sparkz team up to release their first collaboration together in 6 years with this uptempo banger. This late late summer jam was co-produced by the duo and features J.Bless and Sparkz on the mic together officially for the first time ever.

J.Bless is a seasoned MC/producer who’s recorded with artists such as Dead Prez, Zion I and Killah Priest. Together with the Bay Area rapper Seasunz he previously released Earth Amplified, a politically charged album acclaimed for it’s messaging on global crises – it’s “Food Fight” video received 300k plays on YouTube.

Philly native Koncept Sparkz first teamed up with J.Bless in 2008 for an exclusive release with My Favorite Things, a label spun out of the famed Rude Movements club night from multi-talented DJ, Designer, Journalist and Art Director Tyler Askew. Sparkz’s self-produced single “Turn It Up” made clever use of Fela’s “Water Get No Enemy” and quickly became an underground dance floor favorite across the globe.
