Since 2005, Jay Vega has worked to make a name for himself as one of the sought-after producers in the Chicago Hip-Hop scene. Originally from the Lower East Side of New York, Jay Vega began his journey as a DJ in the early 90’s. It was then that he also began to learn the ropes of production. Jay Vega’s talent flourished when he released his first song, “Back in the Day” produced by I-Cue. Having come a long way from running the streets of New York, today he’s known as a producer for a list of Chicago’s finest artists including Lungz, Astonish, The Primeridian, Rashid Hadee, KING, GoonieJ, BdBusiness, itsQVC, Myles J, SevenSevenThree, Kooles, Jacorey, Pugs Atomz, Mass, Chevy Kaang, Beatsmiths, Finch Borough$, DJ NandoMagic, Reap and Outbreak. His experience and knowledge have allowed him to take his music to a whole new level.
