Canadian artist Joey Stylez, one of the most innovative independent artist in Canada today. “The Bad Guy” a remix with Snak the Ripper. Snak is an artist located out of Vancouver, Canada, and is popular among underground graffiti and rap enthusiasts. Both have a long time association with Stomp Down Killers and Ephin brand.
This song is off Stylez’s sophomore album entitled “Feather + Rosary”, a collection of songs that reflect the artist’s growth as an individual. He takes both past and present and embraces the dark and light in the exploration of his path in life. Other notable artists featured on this project are Ty$, Kinnie Starr and Tre Nyce.
Notable Achievements: His album “The Blackstar”, released in 2009, earned him a Juno nomination. He has won him numerous awards from the APCMA’s (Aboriginal People’s Choice Music Awards).
In June 2007 Stylez was featured in XXL magazine. His music has been featured on Much Music top countdowns, and he has the honor of being on Canada’s list of top 25 rappers of all time.
