Malc Stewy – “Blurry Vision” (Album)
Blurry Vision is a metaphor describing the idea that I have a clear vision of what I want to do with my life long-term. Which is to make music to give my self the power and funding to be able to bridge the gap for the talented musicians that are in the position I’m in today, lost. There are things that blur that vision though, such as the amount of other people with the same dreams and aspirations as myself. Distractions that come with smoking weed, other girls trying to shake things up with my relationship with my girl, trying to make sure I keep things tight in my relationship, wanting to take music to a mainstream level but not wanting to deal with mainstream politics and making myself an object or a product in other words. The violence that goes on in my neighborhood, cops that racially profile people and abuse their powers. Resenting having to work in the service field and dealing with disrespectful customers. Pretty much the album is about life, problems that many people face in the years that they are finding themselves.
