Melek the Messenger (Freehold Boro, NJ) – “I’m a Man Yall”
“I’m a Man Yall” is a true story about what me and my wife went through in the early stages of our marriage and how we decided to humbled ourselves before God!
Melek the Messenger, a native born from Freehold Boro NJ, the same town as Bruce Springsteen started his interest in music at age 9 when his mother bought an organ to spark some musical interest in him and his sibling. During his early high school years Melek, his sister and two of his close friends formed a group called (Make a Wish) and did a lot of local gigs around the secular industry. In 1994 at age 17 he accepted Jesus Christ into his life and converted over to Christianity and left the secular industry. Introduced to Christian Rap music through his long time spiritual mentor and friend who had a group called the (S.A.I.N.T.S), he was inspired to continue his music career as a positive role model through his Christian faith and use his gift to help people understand the gospel of Jesus Christ by teaching through his music.
