Optic (Tokyo, Japan) – “Rhodes In Amazon” (Memories LP)

OPTIC is Hip Hop Producer based in Tokyo. He had lived in the States for 10 years and experienced 90 ‘s Hip Hop in real time. After he was inspired by all kinds of music, he started DJ Career in Japan as Techno and House DJ. He started to produce Hip Hop using vinyls and MPC after he changed the name to OPTIC and relaesed his first beat “Memories LP” on bandcamp in May 2014.

MEMORIES LP is produced by using AKAI MPC 3000 and analog records. This instrumental album starts with OPTIC himself singing and promises listeners to experience the sound journey they have forgotten.This album contains his trademark dusty drums, lo-fi melodies and syncopated basslines.
