Kahlo Rivera (dropping JUNE 27th, 2013) is P.I.L.L.S’ take on a style that was born through two of Mexico’s most inspirational and controversial arts of its time. Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera’s arts were both those things. Frida being very personal, colorful, dark, and playful, and Diego being at times tranquil, political, and is known as Social Realism. The concept of the album is that P.I.L.L.S.’s music is the offspring of both (Frida’s and Diego’s) arts. A blend of loud, painful, dark, humbled, and forgotten arts. P.I.L.L.S. lives Kahlo Rivera, do you?
We are glad KAHLO RIVERA gave us all a leak of his album. “Inside” is on REPEAT on our playlist. – UndergroundHipHopBLOG.com
