Phara O Fitzy (Tampa, FL) – “Moment Of Truth”
Omar Smith AKA Phara O Fitzy is an independent artist working towards building his brand with his partner. Out of Tampa, Fl he recently released a track titled “Moment Of Truth” which is a track off of his “A Force to be Wreckoned WIth” project set to release Fall 2014.
Omar Fitzroy Smith (Omar “Phara O” Fitzy) was born April 12, 1984 in White Plains, NY. Omar Fitzy’s parents are Jamaican natives. He lived in White Plains until the age of 4, and then moved to Tampa; FL. Omar was always fascinated with music that his parents played in the household. Reggae, the blues, and classic rock always made Omar love the creation of songs with instrumentation within different genres. As Omar was growing up he started penning his own songs at the tender age of twelve. By the age of 20 years old Omar was recording, mixing, and mastering his own music, distributing and promoting mixtapes and underground albums in the local Tampa Bay area. Omar is a founding member and CEO of The Blank Regime Corporation, along side with childhood friend Wildcard Spadez. Omar handles the task of Promotions/Audio Engineering and being a Hip-Hop artist.
Omar’s style is an east-coast influence sound fused with southern-styled energy. His influences range from Jay-Z, to The Doors. Versatility is key, Omar’s calls his sound “Hip-Hop-Alternative-Soul” because his music is heavily influenced by these genres. Fall 2006 Omar decided to attend college at the International Academy of Design & Technology for Audio Production; He received a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts Summer 2010.
After a long hiatus from recording his solo material, Omar Fitzy is doing ground work to establish himself as an elite independent hip-hop recording artist. Omar Fitzy will be promoting new music and has a new album coming soon titled “A Force to be Wreckoned With.”
