Rockizm drops his second single of the year entitled Hit Dat featuring Twissman/Clixx and Jones 2.0, taken from his forthcoming E.P. Hey DJ. He has already had a great start to 2014, having hooked up with London buzz rap duo Krept & Konan and Ny Grey on his previous release Sweet Thing, which received wide spread radio support and spent a number of weeks in the UK urban charts.
With this single Chris Patrick aka Rockizm delivers a tailor-made masterpiece for club & radio, taking Rockizm back to his hip-hop roots. Replaying the well know bass-line from American old school hip hop/Electro funk group Mantronix 1990 hit “Got To Find Your Love”, mixing it up with a slick hip-hop style production.
‘Hit Dat’ features vocals from vocals by 2013 Jumpoff finalist Akua Konamah and sees Rockizm collaborate with twenty-year-old hip-hop rapper, singer songwriter and producer Clixx, Twissman who is renowned for his poignant lyrics captivating hooks and distinctive style and Jones 2.0 – a hugely talented rapper from north London.
