Social activist, artist, community organizer, college graduate, and student are some of the titles that describe several of the endeavors Roy The Savage of Brooklyn has undertaken. It’s not enough to talk about the struggle, but to actually be doing something about it is where Roy The Savage stands out. From being on the frontlines at Occupy and Eric Garner in New York City, to leading in peace demonstrations in St Louis, Roy The Savage has relished trying to create positive grassroots, community development. He has been making music since 2011 and has grown from spitting in cyphers across Brooklyn, to having performed and been featured across the country from New York City to New Mexico.
