Stone Wallace (Carteret, NJ) – “Coming Home”

Raised in Carteret, NJ for 11 years and Pittsburgh, PA for 7, Justin Oxley was the first born child of an aspiring poet, Lori LacaGina. As a young child, it was apparent that Justin was interested in music, memorizing radio favorites, performing at the age of six in front of guest where his mother bar-tended, singing songs from Guns and Roses and other popular bands. As a teen and throughout her adult years, Lori, used poetry to express her feelings. She read to her son unknowingly that her poetry would influence him to begin practicing the same methods of writing.
At the age of 11, Justin moved from his grandmotherʼs house, in Carteret, NJ to Pittsburgh, PA to live with his mother, where his musical aspirations grew throughout Middle school and High school, writing songs and poetry. Once shy of his talent and the stereotype of a white lyricist, Justin kept his lyrics to himself and close friends, until relocating back to Carteret, NJ to pursue a musical career in 2004.
Justin Oxley has performed in many venues over the last two years. Most recently, with Jessica Sutta from the Pussycat Dolls, in “2011” Winter Music Conference. Held in Miami, “Ultrafest”, is the city’s biggest event hosting 40,000 people.
Justin opened up for Sean “P Diddy” Combs and performed a track Pin Up Girl with Jessica Sutta produced by Erick Morillo, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero and Jose Nunez. His Third Mixtape “Hard Work Over Everything” was released under Gifted Ent. Dec 2011 during a sold out show where he opened for Wu-tang at Starland Ballroom in Sayerville, Nj.
