Vintage began to gain notoriety locally after winning The Break Contest in New Jersey earning him a performance spot at the Bamboozle Festival at Giants Stadium in 2011. He shared the stage with stars such as Big K.R.I.T., Lil B, Chiddy Bang, Rockie Fresh and more. He has also opened for Chris Webby at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. His energetic and inviting performance style accentuates his lyrical prowess, catchy melodies, and authenticity displayed in his songs. The Road to Vibe City is a compilation of remixes and freestyles over some of the hottest industry production as well as songs accompanied by original production from buzzing underground producers such as Llama and Max Frost. The first single “Be a Genius” featuring buzzing Brooklyn emcee Freekstile and striking production from Llama is a strong lyrical song about aspiring to levels of mastery status at whatever you love.
