Performing and recording since the age of 3 with his father (click tha Supah Latin), Tek has grown up in a household where Hip Hop culture was lived all day-everyday. He began chanting along to artists like Boogie Down Productions, Public Enemy, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Ice Cube, Digital Underground, Kool Moe Dee, LL Cool J, Grand Puba, etc.
Tek has performed at Coachella, Smoke Out, Dragon fest, Rock The Bells, Dub Car shows, Wake Up Show anniversaries, Rock Steady Anniversaries, Zulu Nation Anniversaries, multiple Magic Shows, and has also traveled to England opening up for Marley Marl and Craig G. He also had a quick appearance in Jurassic 5s “Quality Control” video. All this before he was 12 years of age.
Through his fathers’ career he was able to attain a level of skill that puts TEK way ahead of the game. Not only does he have a great team of OGs who have schooled him on what “Hip Hop” truly is, he also has the presence and confidence of a seasoned veteran who will undoubtedly write the next chapter in the book of Hip Hop history.
