YH is Young Hawkins, an upcoming hip hop artist who relocated from El Paso, TX to San Bernardino, CA. Young Hawkins (Michael Hawkins) relocated from El Paso as he tried to get out of his family’s drug dealings and start a better life with his father. After his father’s passing, he became the first in his family to go to college at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR. He is now located in Portland, OR and is set to release his mixtape ‘Shit College Kids Say’ this Fall. He is gaining a strong following with the college audience and hoping to break into new audiences.
