Hi-Lo Jack – “So It Goes” (Video)

With the release of their debut EP titled, ‘Old New Clothes’. New trio made up of Dolapo Akinkugbe (aka rapper/producer DAP The Contract), Clyde Lawrence (of soul-pop band Lawrence), and Cody Fitzgerald (of indie-rock band Stolen Jars), better known as the new group Hi-Lo Jack, release a new visual for the breakout cut, “So It Goes”.

The video is directed by Travis Bogosian. The artistic video shows the trio building a home for themselves, literally. While in the building process, each member of the newly-formed group shows off their talents lyrically, vocally, and instrumentally. It’s a soft-hearted visual that is an easy listen and new groovy the everyone will enjoy.

In recent press, Hi-Lo Jack credit their influences from Outkast to Randy Newman, Bon Iver to Stevie Wonder, and Dirty Projectors to Chance The Rapper, the EP challenges genre labels while remaining cohesive in a space all its own.
