Album Review: “I Never Went to Summer Camp” By. Andy O. & Weighn

This 12 track album “I Never Went to Summer Camp” by Andy O. & Weighn embraces exactly what Underground Hip Hop is all about which is consciousness, substance and great music.  It’s a 100% feel good project with out of the box lyrics and beats that will knock and head into a positive headache.  Andy O. delivery and vocabulary is on a A+ level along with his great story telling ability.  Most Importantly a great project can’t be created unless it has great production.  Weighn is truly a Super-Producer to say the least, the beats cater to exactly what the whole theme and look they push!  Honestly this hole project has a spiritual type of vibe and feel.

The music and sounds are really calm yet with overwhelming Hip Hop substance and aggressiveness.  The song that really got me was “Always Runnin“.  This song was super fresh and I honestly had to put it on repeat all day!  Summer camp for a kid will never be the same if he gets his hands on this great project.  The kid would instantly embrace this album and obviously become a real Hip Hop head.

10 3 14” is another dope track that really got my attention.  Overall its a CLASSIC project for all of Underground Hip Hop.  The Beats & Rhymes are on a high level and both of these artists are LEGIT!!
