The UK-based label’s limited-to-death pressings of Westside Gunn, Conway, Mach-Hommy, and the rest of the Griselda extended universe have become the holy grail for collectors worldwide—often selling out in seconds and commanding astronomical resale prices. Now, one dedicated superfan has done the impossible: documented the entire run in a single, breathtaking artifact. Scott Cardoza, a 15-year vinyl veteran and self-described “hardcore hip hop head,” has opened his personal archive to create Unobtainium Vol. 1, a 322-page, 12″x12″ limited-edition book that captures the complete collection of Daupe’s signature obi strips for releases 1 through 85. This isn’t just a catalog, it’s the only complete visual record of these strips in existence, making this volume quite literally the rarest Daupe! archive ever assembled.

But Unobtainium is far more than a documentation project. Cardoza has elevated the material by commissioning reimagined artwork from an all-star lineup of underground visual legends. Contributors including Big Ghost, CXP, KipDaFog, Squatdeadface, Isaac Pelayo, and 1000 Words have hand-altered the visuals, each applying their personal imprint to transform the familiar Daupe! aesthetic into something entirely new and striking.
