Tevin (styled as WHOISTEVIN) is an 20 year old Hip-Hop artist from Long Island, NY. Tevin began recording music at the age of 13. At the age of 16, Tevin began to take music seriously after seeing his cousin produce songs for French Montana, Rick Ross, Dj Kay Slay, & much more. Tevin released a series of singles until he released his debut mixtape “Good Enough” in 2011. Coming from a small town, Tevin pushed his singles through internet social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, etc.
Tevin released his first official single entitled “Where My Deal At” which featured Long Island hip-hop group ‘The 495 Boyz’. After dropping his first official video to Meek Mill’s “Heaven Or Hell”, Tevin kicked off his ‘WHOISTEVIN’ campaign. Tevin says he’s heavily influenced by The Notorious BIG, Jay-z, Nas, & Tupac Shakur. Tevin is currently working on a new project entitled “The Eastside” which he describes it as a ‘more mature’ approach to his fans. In 2013, Tevin released his most popular mixtape ‘The American Dream’ which was a mix between original songs and covers over industry beats.
Tevin is also known for his series of “Good Enough” mixtapes. In March 2014, he released ‘Good Enough 3’ which got over 1k downloads in 24 hours. Tevin describes his lyrics as ‘everyday situations’ and things that he’s been through.
