W!SH – “The Hourglass” Album (Review)

W!SH delivers possibly one of the best indie Hip Hop albums for 2016.  “The Hourglass” mixes golden-era and new-era Hip Hop, with features from Kurupt, Freeway, Freddie Gibbs, Compton Menace & Modesty Lycan.  This combination of MC’s all working with W!SH only shows how much respect he has amongst his Hip Hop peers.  His sound is super fresh delivering solid substance and knowledge with a spice of political activism  in every song.  We need more MC’s like W!SH nowadays, those who have the freshness and consciousness all in one.

“Sassoons” Feat. Kurupt is a great track, along with Sippin Feat. Freddie Gibbs & “Cry No More”.  Honestly, the whole project is great.  Originality is probably the biggest attribute to his talent and that’s important to me.  I have to admit I have never heard of W!SH outside of @UGHHBLOG so it pretty refreshing to know another rising star in the making.  There is a lot of Hip Hop out there but trust me, this album is a must listen!
