Black Hart – “Book Of Marlon” (Album)

The Latest Album from Black_Hart! also available for download on Itunes

A product of nineties hip hop, Black_Hart! began pursuing a life of a hip hop artist during the height of Wu Tang Clan. Wishing to succeed without selling drugs like his role models he would seek financial support by way of the United States Navy. Enlisting in the Navy not only helped to craft his talent, it also afforded him an opportunity to see the world and inspiration towards his music unmatched by common artists. Along the way Black_Hart! started a group inspired by his favorite group Wu Tang Clan called Dark Empire. This group is just as eclectic as the one it’s inspired by featuring as many as 14 artists at one point each originating from various parts of the U.S. as well affiliation with Japanese artists. As his career in the Navy increased so did his responsibilities, which lead to a long hiatus from music from 2001 to 2008. He would begin to take his dream forward with the release of his first mixtape “Rent Money” in 2008. He followed up with his first commercial release “Dead Manz Chest” in 2011. At this point stationed in Japan Black_Hart! along with Dark Empire signed their first deal with Affluent Records and released a group compilation entitled “Sovreign Nation” in 2013. Now retired from the Navy and living in Atlanta Ga Black_Hart! now once again a solo artist released the follow up to Dead Manz Chest entitled Book Of Marlon in May 2015
