As a founding member of the Hip-Hop group, The Watusi Tribe (1995), Cincinnati recording artist Vibe-One became a fixture in music thanks to the popularity behind it’s three independent albums. While working with Watusi Tribe, Vibe-One also pursued solo endeavors and since has released nine solo efforts. Closer than ever to be recognized among the mainstream, Vibe-One strikes while the iron is hot with his latest solo project, titled, T.M.O.L.R.
On the new mixtape, Vibe-One shares the love as he lets the world into his social life. Praising the passion and unity between woman and man, the album dives deep into the complicity of love. Various perspectives, open dialog, and more, Vibe-One delivers a smooth tone that you can ride out to and just vibe.

The sound of T.M.O.L.R. is best described as soulful. Built on fundamental Jazz, producers perfectly tailor-make Vibe-One’s sound to his love story. While the majority of the narrating is based on relationship goals, the background plays out like a soundtrack of relief and comfort. A first offering to many on the established artist, Vibe-One experience and proper beat selection is very beneficial.
Vibe-One’s delivery is smooth, savvy, and intriguing throughout the project. Clever play on words, well-balanced, diverse, Vibe-One is easily recognized as a formidable lyricist. Showing wisdom, experience, and pride on tracks like “Why Not”, “Hold On”, “The Pleasure is All Mine”, proving that Vibe is perfectly capable to thrive as a solo entity. Lyrically, Vibe is strongest on “Don’t Take It Out on Me”.
Allowing the world to see what Cincinnati has to offer, lengthy, fulfilling, shocking, Vibe-One’s new album is excitingly unexpected. T.M.O.L.R. is positive energy, deep, and naturally appealing. Revealing the soul of Cincinnati that has been undiscovered in Hip-Hop. Its Jazz, Neo-soul, centric infused with traditional rhymeslaying, the new project is a must-hear for any Hip-Hop purist.
