Los Angeles Brewery Release Tribute Beer In Memory Of Phife Dawg Of A Tribe Called Quest

In a recent article in LA Times a Los Angeles based beer company, Mumford Brewing Co., are paying tribute to the late Phife Dawg and have brewed up a specific blend named “Buggin’ Out” with a alcohol percent volume of 5.3%, the actual 5’3” height of the rap icon.  The beer is an India Pale Ale chosen after the popular Northeast IPA’s found frequently on the East Coast.  The LA Times wrote, “has some tropical and grassy top notes, then finishes dry with a lingering impression of bergamot and jasmine tea. ”
