Tell us a little about yourself. Where you are from? How long have you been making Hip Hop?
I am a Independent Rapper hailing from the Northside of Minneapolis. Im the Founder of Bankroll Inc. , a Independent Record Company and Bankroll Ink an Independent Publishing/Printing Company. I’m The Author of ‘Distribution City’ a Novel by Boss Fred. I’m scheduled to release my highly anticipated Sequel ‘Distribution City 2 ‘ Another Novel by Boss Fred in 2014. I have always had a love for Music. I’ve Been Making Music since i was a Juvenile.
Describe your music, and what separates you from other MCs?
As a Big fan of music in general I’ve always been ‘Down for the Cause’ when it comes to making Music. What separates me from other M.C’s is the time I’ve spent in the streets, my experiences in the ‘GAME’ and Life in General. That’s what My Music reflects to the listener, Therefore many can relate to where I’m coming from and i do this with a unique sound .
Who have you collaborated with?
I’m Set to release My Debut Album “I Eat With Bosses” in early 2014. The Album has Special Guest Appearances By The Jacka (Mob Figaz), Berner (Taylor Gang) , The Mighty San Quinn(Bay Area), BoyBig(Kansas City) and last but not least Monster Cody.
Who would like to collab with in the near future?
Anyone that’s REAL & that i can vibe with in the name of making good music.
Your definition of “Underground Hip Hop”?
My definition of Underground Hip Hop Would be Primarily Gangster $H^#. In a broader aspect, music that shed’s light on artists/topics and lifestyles that the mainstream isn’t going to show you.
Production wise, who are your influences? Who does your production, and who would you like to work with?
Currently All Production for my Music is done Mainly by Monster Cody . Sometimes i will get my hands dirty and do it myself. I would like to work with any Producer’s that produce DOPE Music and naturally with Industry greats like Dr.Dre , Swiss Beats , or someone of that caliber, who’s Musical Productions have had an influence on me.
Any current or future projects you are promoting?
I’m currently Promoting My recent release ‘Overdose’ a Boss Fred Mixtape . Along with ‘Gunsmoke’ a Monster cody Production And Marilyn Lane a Monster Cody Album (iTunes) .All of which are released under my Label. (Bankroll Inc.) Also being Promoted is ‘Distribution City’ a Novel by Boss Fred (Bankroll Ink) Available now in Paperback & E-Book formats (iTunes)
