Album Review: Demon – “Hell Is Alive And Waiting” (Nightmare Poetry Book II)

Demon - Hell Is Alive And Waiting (Nightmare Poetry Book II) (Album)

There is a new artist in the death rap music scene and his name is Demon.  With his latest full length album titled “Hell Is Alive And Waiting” (Nightmare Poetry Book II) he has reintroduced the meaning of Horrorcore Hip Hop.  His style, delivery and cadence truly unorthodox, expressing he is someone who has been holding a lot back.  To say that “this Hip Hop is not for everyone” serves no justice, rather it’s for all true Hip Hop heads who appreciate music from the heart.

This is not negative Hip Hop, it’s just dark Hip Hop with a lot of creativity and originality.  With a great reference from films like “It” with Pennywise, just goes to show that is really in tune with the horror genre.  This album has 14 tracks full of dark/death Hip Hop that will gravitate to anyone who listens to it.  Overall its a solid album true to its sound and a jem for Death Rap!

Tracks to check out are “They All Float”, “97.9” & “Bear the Consequences”!!!
