When you talk about a flow in tune with all the beats on a project, CJ TRILLO’s “Volume 1: Nostalgia” is one of those projects worth mentioning. Displayed in this release is the diversity of lyrical styles with smooth songs like “Alright” & “Campfire” to head bangers like “Calling Me Back” & “O’Shit”. This project a must download for all Hip Hop heads. Remember those albums back in the 90’s where rappers didn’t need videos, or a heavy online following trend to make them stand out? MC’s actually had to earn their way to the studio, and shows. CJ Trillo is one of those MCs that truly stand out despite that fact that there are 100x more rappers 20 years later.
