Beat Tape Review: Brillo – “Seeds”
By far Brillo, formally known as Portesphear, can probably go down as one of the hardest underground producers in 2016 and moving forward. With his latest beat tape project titled “Seeds” he showcases 13 of the most interesting beats we have come across. The Underground feel and sound is fully embraced along with the substance we all crave when it comes to dope beats. Sonically & Musically this project is flawless, allowing the listener to enjoy and imagine, rather then irritated or distracted by wack music.
Each beat creates a picture in your head, puts you in a trans, makes you appreciate great music and respect his production skills. “Marimba”, “Saxaphone” & “Favor” really hit me hard. I was not expecting to review a quality project like this. Just goes to show that dope producers are still around, I gave up for a long time but wow!!! “What a breath of fresh air“!!
