Bad Habbits (West Orange, NJ) – “Blitzkrieg”

Bad Habbits is back with a fresh sound for 2014. After releasing his third and most successful LP Acid Reflux in September of 2012, Habbits (AKA Jay Baron) is back in the studio working on the follow-up, ACID REFLUX 2: MAXIMUM STRENGTH. Working exclusively with native Detroit Producer Sam Da Grouch, Baron and Grouch are going for a large sound with dynamics that go from smooth and crisp to rugged and raw. Release expected later on this year. For now, we’d like to present to you a track which will be featured on the project, “Blitzkrieg”. Filled with imagery of darkness, disdain, and imprisonment, “Blitzkrieg” displays Habbits’ rapid fire delivery and unique style of story telling and braggadocio over a Sam Da Grouch ethereal backdrop of a dystopian landscape interweaves with old school style DJ scratching which not only serves as an additional section, but actually blends into and becomes part of the beat! A perfect blend of old school meets new school.
