Christian Catlin (Florida) – “New Song” (Official Music Video)

Christian Catlin is an aspiring rapper who grew up in Sarasota and now resides in Fort Myers on the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University.  He began his music career seriously when he and his high school buddy Anthony formed a rap duo by the name of Close Up and CC.  They released a mixtape together, entitled Loud Pack Music, which gained popular status on mixtape distributor Datpiff.com with over 2K downloads in just under 48 hours.  Since then, Christian has taken the initiative in performing shows around the state of Florida.  His biggest show to date has been opening up for RCA recording artist Kid Ink at The Orpheum in Tampa last summer.  Christian is a triple threat: he can produce, write his own lyrics, and can rap with such a unique tone.  The new mixtape, 40 oz. Killer, encompasses a wide variety of styles that shows off Christian’s versatility as well as his ambitions to make himself a household name in the music industry one day.
