Lapse (age 25) and Young INQ (age 22) are two cousins from New York , New York . Lapse grew up in the Pelham parkway section of the Bronx. His career started at the age of 8 and has not slowed down since. His sky’s the limit attitude has helped him achieve many skills in audio technology .He engineers,produces, writes, raps and still finds time to be a full-time father. HIs passion for music and to help others led him to teach children in a youth program on how to do different things in the studio . He graduated from college with a degree in audio engineering and took buffalo by storm when he performed at Ferdonia State University . Lapse close relationship with his younger cousin led INQ to follow close in his footsteps even following him to college 300 miles away in Cayuga area of upstate New York. While in school Lapse mentored Inq on the ins and outs of music and the Collaborating minds project was created.
INQ grew up on 233 St. in the Bronx and started his rap career as what many would say is late(17).Years of loving music but not having the confidence to create it led to the breaking out of his rap shell around friends and family. Not until he went to college and was mentored daily did he realize he has a passion for Music. With a bright future Inq is learning different skills while still trying to become a better artist and person. His passion for music helped him make a huge leap in the way his music sound. He credits that to self motivation a year and a half after Lapse moved back home Inq stayed behind to finish school. He no longer had the close guidance of Lapse but instead of folding he decided to work harder .
Writing and finding new ways to explore his talents led him to become a stronger artist and helped push the Collaborating minds project to the next level. These two are young talented and ambitious. With such a well-rounded act its hard to find wholes if any in the music they bring to the table. The music industry needs a new sound with the soul of the old school and it can be found in these two artist. They accumulated fans of all ages from all different places with excellent reviews.
