Gorgeous Geordie & Guilty † Priest – “Guilty Goth” Album
Gorgeous Geordie (Vancouver) & Guilty † Priest (Halifax) recorded their new album in 3 weeks last February in Halifax. Though long-time friends and collaborators, ‘Guilty Goth’ marks their first album together and is perhaps their finest moment individually, as well.
The sound is partially 90’s era boom-bap, underground hip hop mixed with influences of cloud rap, trap music, horror movie soundtracks & 80’s new wave sampling. A snapshot of that cold winter spent in Guilty’s studio, the album still serves as a window into something thats been brewing for years.
