Born and raised on Charlotte, NC’s west side, Joe Sig has a sound that resonates of being a true hip-hop lyricist. From an early age Joe Sig has always showed his individuality by thinking outside the box and not following the crowd. Being introverted in his early years Joe Sig used poetry as an outlet to express himself. The writing skills he gained from poetry changed into a love for writing music. After a turn of events in his life , and motivation from his family Joe Sig decided to take his music career more seriously. Mastering his craft by writing daily and learning about the production side of music.

“Beautiful Different ” would be the best way to describe the skills of Joe Sig as an artist.  Although his music has yet to reach the masses it has reached internationally with collaborations with German producer Flawless Klang.

His playful wordplay and self proclaimed “young-soul” music is like a breath of fresh air to his city’s infinite songs based on trapping, shooting, and fighting. He has been told by artist like Prince Romeo, Kanye West, and even NC native J. Cole, he has something special.

Joe Sig with the help of his comrades emcees/producers “Emaye”, “Luchini”, and “Frank Frames” has established the B.U.D.A. (Be Unique Do Anything) Movement to spread the idea that individuality is beauty. Influenced by 80’s hip-hop and molded by 90’s hip hop culture his new project is sure to leave a carbon footprint in the music game for Charlotte.
