Louis Cheese (New Haven, CT) – “Loyal” Freestyle

Rapper born and raised in New Haven, CT. Louis Cheese has a long range of topics. From one of his favorite cartoons to the trials and tribulations of life. He’s been writing since the age of fifteen but recently started recording roughly 2 years ago. Whether it’s a fun track or a serious track Louis Cheese gives it his all and lets out raw emotion. Most topics are things people don’t talk about much or consider ‘crude’ or ‘inappropriate’. His style is unique to say the least. With a raspy flow and intense vibe its not your typical rap.

Watching MTV as young as five years of age, there was an early interest in music. As he got older there was more fond love for rap and hip hop culture. Due to living in a lower class household, material possessions became less important than the happiness that was felt from music. Mainly inspired by, Gangstarr, Ghetto Boys, Eminem, Styles p, and joe buddens to start writing rhymes. Not very confident to rap he wrote for years to come. After a serious surgery to help his breathing he had a new found confidence to finally start spittin his wrritens!

Due to not knowing many producers or people to help him record, he knew what he had to do to get this going. With just a laptop to make his beats on, a low quality microphone, and his car as the booth, the first song was recorded. This continued to be the method till he linked up with various producers from around the globe. After multiple songs being posted online, his first mixtape was released entitled, ‘My Aspect’ . With some local buzz an old friend Revan Oner contacted him with the offer to be on a label. Eager to start a new chapter in his life, Louis Cheese signed with Organic Sound Productions. Combined with other talented and unique styles, this makes for an interesting future for music.
