Recently earning their second consecutive Boston Music Award for Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, Moe Pope & Rain release their new music video for ‘Lift Off’ along with ‘What You Need Pt. 2’, an unreleased track off their critically acclaimed record, ‘Let The Right Ones In’ (Brick Records).
‘Lift Off,’ features Nate Marsden (of Bearstronaut) mouthing Moe Pope’s lyrics on an animated journey through the streets of Boston. Rain’s production and playful synth melodies provide the backdrop for director/animator Matthew Watkins’ surreal imagining of the city.
‘What You Need Pt. 2’ showcases Pope’s effortless rhyming accompanied by the ethereal vocals of Brooklyn songstress Tea Leigh. Anchored by Rain’s original composition, the track is exclusively available on Soundcloud.
