Nkosi Echoez is an 18 year old New York City Local. He lives on the Lower East Side where he attends college for Economics. His Idols growing up include bands such as Radiohead to The Wu Tang Clan, and others such as Mos Def and Common. His music background sparks his interest to explore new types of music everyday. He has played the Cello for 11 years and the Guitar for 6. His Mother plays the violin and his Father plays the trombone. Growing up in a single family household his mom always motivated him to find peace in music and writing. They used to sit outside for hours in the summer, write poetry, and listen to artists such as Marvin Gaye and John Coltrane. In writing poetry he slowly began to accumalate an interest in Hip-Hop. With his smooth delivery and dark style the lyricist explores the highs and lows of his life in the past and in the present. He wishes to Echo his voice around the world through his music and influence people to let them know that they are not alone and that other people have, and are experiencing what they have experienced.
