Sleazy, adulterous politicians, opportunistic call girls, and drug-addled trust fund babies…it’s just another day in the life when you’re getting “High in the City.”

Pants Velour creates its own brand of New York City hip-hop, pop, rock and soul music to form a sound that has been likened to the Beastie Boys, The Roots and the Black Eyed Peas. They have been dubbed “New York hip-hop/rock fusioneers” by TimeOut New York, and their genre-bending music has been described as “party-ready hip-hop” by the Washington City Paper, a “unique brand of hip-hop, R&B and pop” by USA Today, and a combination of “today’s pop-soul and yesterday’s hip-hop” by the Washington Post. They were named to New Music Seminar’s 2013 “Top 100 Artists on the Verge” list.

Pants Velour is also the face of the Dial 7 Car and Limousine Service ad campaign, for which they have written three jingles including “We’re Picking You Up.”
