Poe-Addict, a Portland Oregon emcee who is currently on the rise with putting in hard work on the Northwest and getting his name out. He’s currently been rapping for 4 years and writing poetry for 10 years. He put out a project called “Written In Ink” with popular songs “Keep It Pimpin” “Hangover” “Sweet Days” and “Hustlin’ Tha Message” on http://poeaddict.bandcamp.com/ and is currently in a hip hop group called “Thoughtz Unknown.” Poe-Addict is heavily influenced by the generality of music, poetry, and the art form of Hip Hop. His influences are Nas, The Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, Rakim, Jay-Z, KRS One, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Lupe Fiasco, Saul Williams, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Wu-Tang Clan, and Citizen Cope. He’s worked with artists Rasheed Jamal of The Resistance, Randal Wyatt of Speaker Minds, Landon Wordswell, Jennicka Parker, 5th Sequence, and Codell of Thoughtz Unknown. Flett Productions is Poe-Addicts producer and produced “Keep It Pimpin”.
