Rack’d Up – “Tuesday” (Official Video)

RackdUp Group (dubbed the new WuTang by Executive Producer Rick Steel) just dropped their official video, #Tuesday

The music industry and the world, has yet to experience a Hip Hop group since the launch of Wu-Tang Clan. Rack’d Up is not just a group of artists, they are innovators that incorporate their audience into a #RackdUp family. An American Hip Hop group hailing from the Bronx in New York City, was created by Haddy Racks, Hellbound June and Smoove Billionaire in 2012, later joined by Chico and Blaze. The group had the concept of creating a legendary movement, staying true to their roots. Differentiating themselves from most urban artists today that are focused on a flashy lifestyle of success and wealth, Rack’d Up promotes their motto of doing whatever it takes, whatever it is that you do, to the max. “We have a saying, ‘We don’t do it big, we do it #Rackdup. Our movement stays true to everyone out there striving, working towards greatness and their fullest potential as living a #Rackdup lifestyle.”

Rack’d Up is comprised of five talented artists best known as Haddy Racks (born Harold Easterling); Lee Majors (born Leonel Maduro); Bangdana Red (born Maximo Mercado, Jr); Flip Hendricks (born Sha’ron Addison) and Yungie (born Naquan Smith). The group’s first project, New Rack City was released in May of 2014 featured their initial members, which created notoriety in their hometown of the Bronx.

In August 2014, Prince approached Producer Rick Steel, introducing him to Rack’d Up. “The first thing I saw was a group of kids full of energy that’s missing in music today, and it gave me the chills. Shit felt like Wu-Tang all over again. I called Prince the next day and told him I’m in.”

Their new project dropping in early 2015, executively produced by Rick Steel, is highly anticipated by the #RackdUp family as well as music industry executives. The first song “Tuesday,” will be released alongside the group’s first official video. The Hip Hop world has yet to experience a tremendously talented group of artists with a passion for their music and dedication to their mission. With a solid promo campaign including radio shows and the legendary New York nightlife industry, Rack’d Up has quickly drawn a loyal following.

Similar to most Hip Hop artists, the Rack’d Up family members were immersed in the inner city life surrounded by gangs, drugs and violence. This motivated the members not just individually, but collectively as a group to inspire the #RackdUp family in seeking the American Dream. “It applies to everyone, whether you are going to college working towards your degree, or a single mother holding down three jobs to provide for her children, or a father working countless hours to provide for his household, that’s #RackdUp. Those individuals without ambition and goals, aren’t #RackdUp.” The birth of Rack’d Up is revitalizing the culture behind Hip Hop and the death of real music groups.
