Taken from his album “A Dream Deferred” released late 2012, Brooklyn’s SKYZOO has just launched the new video for the single “Spike Lee Was My Hero” featuring Talib Kweli and produced by Tall Black Guy.
First aired on BET’s 106 & Park as their “New Jam of the Day” on Tuesday 22nd January, the video also features the legendary filmmaker Lee and CBS News This Morning presenter Gayle King. A special “behind the scenes” video was also produced about the making of the video.

SKYZOO started making mixtapes in 2002, and in 2005, through a mutual friend, was introduced to Grammy-winning producer 9th Wonder.
