The Horror Show is the duo of Jon Cozy and Decibel Grand based out of Oahu, Hawaii. Shorts is their latest album, with production from a variety of Hawaii producers such as Graves, TSRK, Cozy, Rukka, Zazz, and Mr. Carmack. Also featured on their track “Steel Reserve” is Pigeon John of L.A. Symphony. The two emcees drop raw, lyrical flows on a variety of topics over a backdrop of beats with a classic knock. Keep on the lookout for their next release “Snuff Music” due out winter 2014.
“shorts.” is the follow up to our debut album “Viddy The Horror Show” and a precursor to our next full album releasing in December called “Snuff Music.” As an EP, we decided to make it a more straightforward release as opposed to our more conceptional and experimental full albums. We decided to collaborate with a few producers that we have never worked with officially before, which include Hawaii based producer/sound engineer Christian Mochizuki aka GRAVES, who has worked on projects with Kanye West and Kid Cudi. We also worked with up and coming producers TSRK, ZAZZ, and Rukka The Magnificent.
