Album Review: Scott Sharpe (Toronto, Canada) – Population900

Scott Sharpe is by far the most confident MC we have bumped into for 2014.  By listening to is most recent project “Population900” LP we had no choice but to notice such an experienced cadence and delivery.  His Rhymes come out quick yet still keeps the creativity in the wordplay and articulation.  14 all original music featuring some dope producers, this LP brings back the true essence of what real underground Hip Hop is supposed to sound like.

“Spoken Word” is a heavy deep methodical song that really stands out on this LP.  Along side to “Black Dog” which as a dope message and concept regarding his experience in helping others and still fighting with his issues in life.  Overall “Population 900” LP is a true standout album and we recommend it to all underground Hip Hop enthusiasts out there looking for some fresh music………………..@UGHHBLOG
