Sprite P.O.U.R. presents: Atlanta Rapper K.Camp
Hitting the Atlanta scene with his music this year, K.Camp has taken the heart of the city and created a big buzz in a short time.
The native of Atlanta’s northside has just released his new mixtape, “In Due Time,” hosted by DJ Drama. It’s been flooding the streets everywhere and with his popularity growing and spreading quicker than wildfire, it is no wonder that every hip-hop station in Atlanta plays his music.
We had a chance to speak with him before he went onstage to perform, and this is what he had to say:
“My music is music that I can listen to, my friends can listen to, my people can listen to. My music is a reflection of me. It’s how I feel, how I see the world and how I live my everyday life,” he says. “I think if you can stay true to who you are, when discussing music, everyone will eventually jump on the wagon and that’s what’s happening.”
K.Camp continues to stay true to his craft when making music. He even has a song on his mixtape titled “True to My Craft,” which talks about how he can only be himself and no one else. Still an unsigned artist, he recently made an appearance on BET’s “106 & Park” and claims that this is only the beginning of something that will be real and “Atlanta.”
Make sure you look out for K.Camp simply because the Atlanta music scene is behind him, and no matter what he does or where he goes, he will always stay true to his craft.
