Mixtape Review: Black X (DMV) – EGO?

Black X, an artist out of the DMV area has recently launched his Mixtape titled “EGO?” which illustrates are true conscious mind with the ability to speak from the heart and be open-minded.  Heavily influenced by the social political views from the 60′ & 70’s, Black X was able to create music that would capture the listener’s attention and let them paint pictures and use their imaginations.  With a great combination of Raw Hip Hop is a classic mix of political conscience & hardcore Hip Hop.  His cadence, flow, and song structure is magnificently put together, showing his true Hip Hop talent to the masses.  The production is great as well, with smooth crisp beats on every song.  Much respect to producers Frander, Twenty3 & Enrichment.

Any Hip Hop fan really should give this whole project a good listen.  Musically its put together real good with some classic tracks that you will always remember.  17 tracks of a great experience from a true rising stars in the DMV area.  Black X flexes on tracks like “Metal & Dust”, “Motivation” & “Corner”, “99′ Cutlass”.  True classic tracks in our opinion!………………….@UGHHBLOG
