Mixtape Review: Jus Chris (Chicago, IL) – Dear Madame
A really different type of project to say the least. For Jus Chris maybe a girl in the past broke his heart, or is speaking in 3rd person or its the imaginary 100% girl of his dreams. Regardless the situation this Mixtape titled “Dear Madame” is already considered a CLASSIC in our opinion. His lyrical style and delivery is so effortless yet filled with tons of emotions and substance allowing true music to be absorbed. His beat selection is respected, sharp, clean & banging beats really blending in well with the whole concept of the album. 15 tracks giving the fans a good handful of songs to enjoy during the summer of 2014. For the Chicago Hip Hop scene, Jus Chris has really leaped over hundreds of so-called MC’s out there with his unique artistry and Hip Hop knowledge.
This Mixtape offers a great mix of slow melodic songs with heavy underground Hip Hop style songs showing his true diversity for every fan out there who craves fresh Hip Hop. I am sure there are tons of kids out there that can relate to Jus Chris when it comes to what he is speaking about on this Mixtape. With songs like “Day One: Vibes”, “Purple Shadows” & “Sincerely Yours” it’s truly impossible to not become an instant fan. Much respect to Jus Chris for holding it down in the over saturated Chicago Hip Hop scene………………..@UGHHBLOG
