Never Look Back is a memoir of 1Known’s journey, over the past few years. Though it’s his individual story, it’s also a story that can be felt by those who have been through similar experiences
The album is essentially about the desire to rise above a previous dark, bitter, dead-end space in life. It’s about reaching a point where you feel like you’ve got one foot out of that trap. It’s about feeling like you’re well enough equipped to finally reach a sustainable level of success, and general happiness.
To paraphrase the album’s title track… This story isn’t about “forgettin’ where you came from”. It’s about “forgettin’ all the bullsh*t you need to stay away from”… And NEVER… LOOKING… BACK.
